1 year later after The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1
released, the second part of a two-part film forms the fifth and final
installment in the series The Twilight Saga is finally unveiled on November 16,
2012. This 115-minute American romantic fantasy and adventure film directed by
Bill Condon and based on the novel Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. All three
main cast members, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner with
Mackenzie Foy portraying Renesmee continued reprising their roles as Bella
Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. This is the conclusion of the 2011 film
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
Breaking Dawn – Part 2 earned a worldwide total of
$832,663,029 ($292,324,737 in North America and $540,388,292 in other
territories). It's the 6th highest-grossing film of 2012, also the highest-grossing
film of the Twilight series. The $340.9 million worldwide opening makes it the
largest for the Twilight franchise and the largest for a film released outside
the summer period. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 DVD and Blu-ray discs were released on March 2, 2013.
