Kiki's Delivery Service, a 1989 Japanese anime movie, is one
of Miyazaki’s most accessible films. The heartwarming, gorgeously-rendered tale
follows a young witch named Kiki who leaves her family to make her way in the
big city. When an apprentice witch turns thirteen, she must leave her home in
order to hone her craft. Although Kiki's sole talent is broom-flying, she sets
out for adventure with her cat Jiji. They settle in a charming seaside town,
where Kiki establishes her own delivery service. As Kiki learns to balance
independence with responsibility, her kind heart wins her many new friends in
this coming-of-age tale.
It’s a beautiful and introspective masterpiece. On the

perfect 100% rating based on 22 reviews. The initial DVD version of Kiki’sDelivery Service was released in 2003. 7 years later in 2010, a new DVD version
