Nightmare on Elm Street 4 – The Dream Master Plot Summary: The
story of The Dream Master follows the previous Nightmare film, Dream Warriors. The
survivors, Kristen, Kincaid and Joey have supposedly left their nightmares
behind them and have returned to high school suburbia. But you can't keep a
good franchise monster down. Freddy is resurrected (in a wacky scene involving
Kincaid's dog Jason), and quickly dispatches the last of the Elm Street kids
whose parents murdered him. Somehow, between DREAM WARRIORS and DREAM MASTER,
our heroes have lost their super dreamland powers…

year after the events of the previous films, Kristen Parker is stalked by
Freddy Krueger and he slashes her wrists. Her mother Elaine finds her awake
with her wrist cut and a razor in her hands, which makes it seem like an

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - Freddy's Revenge (1985)
“One, two Freddy’s coming for you…three, four better lock your door…five, six bring your crucifix…seven, eight gonna stay up late…nine, ten never sleep again.”
Brief Story Introduction: A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 –
Freddy’s Revenge (1985) stars Mark Patton as the “final girl” Jesse. Freddy
Krueger has returned to Elm Street and is haunting Jesse in his dreams. One
nightmare includes a particularly delicious sequence involving Jesse’s macho
gym teacher hanging out in a gay leather bar before he’s led into the
high-school gym showers where he is forcibly stripped of his leather gear,
whipped by towels and then slashed to death by Freddy’s razorblade nails. And
if that’s not gay enough, just wait until you see Jesse’s infamous bedroom
dance scene.
Classic Movie Backup: A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984

eight gonna stay up late…nine, ten never sleep again.”
The Story Summary of A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984: Teenagers
in a small town are dropping like flies, apparently in the grip of mass
hysteria causing their suicides. A cop's daughter traces the cause to child
molester Fred Krueger, who was burned alive by angry parents many years before.
Krueger has now come back in the dreams of his killers' children, claiming
their lives as his revenge. You will see young Johnny Deep in this movie.

Backup Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro
Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro is the first
feature film of Miyazaki’s career. Miyazaki's first directed feature provides
an interesting bookend with his purported last film, THE WIND RISES. Both are
stripped of his (literal) magic and outright fantasy, yet what remains may
offer the clearest glimpse into the idiosyncrasies that make Miyazaki one of
the best filmmakers of the 20th century. His vision of the European backdrop of
Lupin's caper is a brilliant reversal of Western orientalism, in this case
filtering the West through an Eastern premise.
Castle of Cagliostro follows master thief Lupin the Third as
he attempts to recover from mistakenly stealing a load of counterfeit bills
from a casino. Synopsis of this film from IMBD says it is a flamboyant thief
and his gang struggle to free a princess from an evil count's clutches and to
learn the hidden secret to a fabulous treasure that she holds part of a key to.
What follows is what Steven Spielberg called the greatest adventure film ever
made.
Backup Porco Rosso - One of the Best Animated Films of ALL Time
This 1992 Ghibli Release of "Porco Rosso" is one
of Hayao Miyazaki's greatest works. Sadly, Porco Rosso is not given the
attention and credit this film deserves. Porco Rosso follows the adventures of
an early-1900s Italian fighter-pilot who was born with a pig’s head and makes a
living as a bounty hunter. While the film is one of Miyazaki’s strangest, it
does reflect Miyazaki’s interest in planes, which has carried through into his
last feature film, The Wind Rises.
When ''Porco'' -- whose face has been transformed into that
of a pig by a mysterious spell -- infuriates a band of sky pirates with his
aerial heroics, the pirates hire Curtis, a rival pilot, to ''get rid'' of him.
On the ground, the two pilots compete for the affections of the beautiful Gina.
But it is in the air where the true battles are waged. Will our hero be
victorious?
Backup Ponyo - a Work of Great Fantasy Will Delight Children Ages 3 to 100

a boy who befriends a daughter of the sea named Ponyo. The daughter of the king
of the ocean, Ponyo is no ordinary goldfish - she has all the magic of the sea
at her disposal. Ponyo desperately wants to be human and live with her friend’s
family, but her father, the King of the Sea, has different ideas, at least when
he’s paying attention to his wayward daughter and not mixing elixirs to clean
up the mess man has made of the ocean. But when five-year-old Sosuke finds her
near his seaside home, a special connection sparks between the two children,
and Ponyo becomes determined to become human.
Backup Howl's Moving Castle - An Amazing Animated Adventure
Based on the novel by Diana Wynn Jones, the Howl's Moving Castle follows
the adventures of a young girl, Sophie, a diligent teenage girl working in her
family's hat shop, finds her life thrown into turmoil when she is literally swept
off her feet by a handsome-but-mysterious wizard named Howl. This innocent
encounter engages the vain and conniving Witch of the Waste, who transforms
into a 90-year-old woman. Sophie's efforts to break the curse bring her to
Howl's magical moving castle, where she befriends Markl, Howl's apprentice, and
the hot-headed fire demon Calcifer. Her love and support have a major impact on
Howl, who can be maddeningly self-indulgent and singularly noble: He defies royal
orders to participate in a meaningless war and risks his life to bring peace to
the kingdom. The film was received a lot of positive reviews and nominated for
an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
