Die Hard, stars Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman, is a classic 1988 American action movie directed by John McTiernan. The story is based on the 1979 novel Nothing Lasts Forever and re-written by Steve de Souza and Jeb Stuart. The film tells a story of an off-duty Police officer, John McClane (Bruce Willis) who destroyed a group of highly organized criminals led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman). This is the film that turned Bruce Willis into an action star and spawned the Die Hard franchise with 4 sequels, video games and even a comic book.
