Die Hard 2: Die Harder, as the second installment of Die Hard fime series, released on July 4, 1990. Bruce Willis and Bonnie Bedelia were reprising their roles as John McClane and Holly McClane. The story of this film was adapted from Walter Wager's novel 58 Minutes. And as the same with the Die Hard 1 installment, the story happened also on Christmas Eve. Die Hard 2 was the first film to use digitally composited live-action footage with a traditional matte painting that had been photographed and scanned into a computer.
